As I was almost home today, driving the speed limit, a dog ran into the road, of leash. I say this to REMIND EVERYONE TO PLEASE SLOW DOWN when driving along 3rd Street NW. I know that stretch of roadway is so enticing to speed but be a good neighbor and lawful citizen and don't do it. Tell your family, friends and neighbors the importance of driving the posted speed limit. No one wants to carry the burden of injuring or killing a pet, or god forbid, a child.
