(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, September 27, 2020, in the unit block of Kennedy Street, Northeast.
At approximately 3:43 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects brandished handguns and demanded the victim’s vehicle and property. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the vehicle.
On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 21 year-old Jamal Hunter, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking (Gun).
This case remains under investigation.
