DC FEMS Fire Safety Tips

Greetings Commissioners,

Hoping you can help the DC Fire and EMS Department spread the word on important and potentially lifesaving fire prevention tips.

Tragically, four District residents lost their lives in home fire in January.

We know we can do better, together .

We hope you will share the attached DC Fire and EMS Fire Prevention Tips document with your constituents and those that are attending your virtual meetings.

If anyone wants more information on home fire safety tips or smoke detectors, we urge them to call the DC Fire and EMS Department’s Fire Prevention Division at 202-727- 1614 or email us at Fems.fireprevention@dc.gov .

Thank you for your help and assistance.

Together, we can do better.
