This is a hypothermia alert issued in accordance with the District of Columbia’s Cold Plan for 7 PM Saturday, January 16th, 2021. The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that temperatures will be 33 degrees but will feel like 25 degrees due to wind chill and/or rain. These temperatures significantly increase your risk for hypothermia and frostbite.
