MPD/Park Police Presence @ Fort Slocum

I was advised by a constituent that there was a police presence at Fort Slocum this morning.

Please know it was just to investigate the burial of a deceased dog.

Please contact 311 or the Humane Rescue Alliance for information on how to properly dispose of deceased household pets.

For deceased animals on public property, you can call 311 to schedule DPW to properly dispose of the animal.
