I am attaching some literature from the Metropolitan Police Department regarding appropriate use of Fireworks as we head into the July 4th weekend as well as information regarding auto thefts. I hope you find it helpful. If hard copies are needed, please let me know. While I will go into more detail during the SMD meeting I have been advised by MPD that total crime is up!!!!! Year to date we have 421 crimes vs. 335 last year. The biggest issue is property crime, specifically theft from automobiles. The SMD little library is fully stocked with books, some games, resource materials on debt management and swag (pens, lanyards and wrist bands).
