Winter Storm Watch

The National Weather Service reports the Winter Storm Watch for the District of Columbia, remains in effect from Thursday, February 18th at 3AM until Friday, February 19th at 6AM. A total snow accumulation of five (5) or more inches and total ice accumulation of a quarter inch or more are possible. IMPACTS: Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.
