Tiffani Nichole Johnson is a lifelong resident of Washington, DC.  She has resided in the same house she now owns, since the day she was born, July 2, 1980, with her daughter Angel and cousin Sean; both lifelong Washingtonians.

 

A proud graduate of St. John’s College High School (’98) and Virginia Wesleyan College (’02), where she majored in political science and sociology, she set her sights on law school and finished her studies at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (’05).  After clerking for Senior DC Super Court Judge Nan Shuker, she worked for six (6) years at University Legal Services as a disability rights advocate before joining the DC Government Department on Disability Services in 2013 as a Rights and Advocacy Specialist.  A position which she currently holds.

 

Throughout her lifetime in DC she has been a constant advocate not just for the disabled but for the community at large.  She is the past secretary of the Ward 4 Dems, founding board member of the Kennedy Street Development Corporation, and past Vice President of the Manor Park Citizens Association.  She is also the sole proprietor of Johnson Consulting Services which provides traveling notary services, document development and review and referral services throughout Ward 4 and for hospice patients throughout the city receiving services through Capital Caring.  Lastly, she is a member of the DC Office on Aging Elder Abuse and Prevention Committee which conducts city-wide trainings for seniors and disabled on how to avoid being financially abused. 

 

Tiffani looks forward to continuing to help her community as a Commissioner and welcomes the opportunity to meet all of her constituents throughout her tenure.
