I received word that there may have been some sort of party outside of Capital City Public Charter School last night. This resulted in a tremendous amount of litter being left. I have alerted DPW to assist in cleaning up the trash and emptying the trash can as well as MPD to provide additional sector patrols in this area to deter further illegal activity.
Please be mindful that drinking outside/open containers of alcohol on public streets is illegal. In addition, we all have a duty to work together to keep our communities clean. Please stay safe and healthy, remember to wear your masks, practice good hygiene and social distancing and only travel for essential functions such as grocery shopping or medical appointments.
